Will These Covers Fit My Jar?

The 7-inch covers fit most jars with a capacity of 1 gallon or less. They work best when the jar mouth is 5 inches in diameter or smaller. 

Why Fit and Fabric Matter

Primary kombucha fermentation needs oxygen, so the cover must be breathable. It also needs to be secured tightly enough to help block insects and airborne debris. The fitted size reduces excess fabric, makes the rubber band easier to secure, and creates a cleaner appearance on the brewing jar.
