This listing includes 5 kombucha cloth jar covers and 5 rubber bands. Bucha Brewers jar covers are made with 100% Unbleached Natural Cotton Muslin. The covers have a very tight-weave, meaning your brew will be protected against bugs and bacteria. The tight-weave fabric is breathable, meaning your jar will maintain optimal airflow and have access to all of the oxygen it needs for a healthy fermentation. These covers work great for kefir and other aerobic fermentations too!
At 7 inches, Bucha Brewers kombucha jar covers were custom-made to comfortably fit 1-gallon brewing jars. What does this mean? It means your jar cover will be easy to place on your jar and will fit snugly. “Cookie-cutter” 10-inch jar covers are too large for most kombucha brewing jars, leaving you to fight with bulky excess fabric that generally results in a looser fit on your jar. Our custom-fitted jar covers are also more aesthetically pleasing without excess fabric draping down over your brewing jar.
Not sure whether our cloth kombucha covers will fit your brewing jar? Our covers fit almost all jars with a capacity of 1-gallon or less.  These covers were made to be a perfect fit for the most common kombucha brewing jar size. If your jar is larger than 1-gallon, we recommend measuring the diameter. If the mouth of your jar is 5 inches in diameter or less, these should work great for you! Is your jar mouth larger? We’ve got you covered!
