These easy-to-use thermometer strips take the stress out of home brewing your kombucha; simply take a quick glance at your brewing container to confirm the temperature is within the desired range. The temperature range and flexibility of these strips make them a great fit for all types of fermentation and home-brewing: use them for kombucha, beer, wine, and more!   These thermometer strips even work great for fish tanks and aquariums.

To use these stick-on thermometers, simply remove the white waxy cover from the back of the strip and firmly apply the adhesive thermometer to your brewing jar or vessel. The adhesive back ensures the thermometer will stick to the vessel for your entire brewing process, making it easy as can be to promptly check the temperature.

Once your thermometer has been applied, you can remove the thin plastic film protecting the front of the thermometer if desired.  This is not necessary and does not affect temperature reading, but it does make it easier to read and view.  It can also remove any pesky air bubbles that have made their way between the thermometer and the protective plastic.  See the product photos for support and images of each of these steps.

Read the thermometer by viewing the temperature reading that has become colored. For example, in the first and last photos, the temperature is approximately 73 degrees Fahrenheit. This pack comes with two adhesive thermometer strips.
