Returns

Here at Bucha Brewers, we love our products and we are confident that you will too!  We stand behind our products. We will gladly replace any defective product with an identical product.

If you need to replace a product, please email us at support@buchabrewers.com within 14 days of receiving your product.  We will go over the return process with you at that time.

Our policy lasts 30 days from receipt of your product. If returned materials are not received within 30 days of the original delivery date, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange. 

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused (for sanitary purposes) and in the same condition that you received it in. It must also be in the original packaging. Items returned for reasons other than being damaged or defective are subject to a restocking fee.

Perishable products (such as SCOBYs and products containing SCOBYs) are not eligible for return. Please be mindful of the best-by timeframe marked on SCOBYs, which includes SCOBYs bundled within kombucha kits.

Additional non-returnable items:
* Gift cards
* Downloadable software products

To complete your return, we require proof of purchase.

Refunds (if applicable)
All returns will be inspected within 2 business days of arriving at our facility.  Upon inspection, we will send you an email to notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If the refund is approved, it will be processed on the same day as the inspection.  A credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment.  Depending on your bank, it can take 3-5 business days for this transaction to post to your account.

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you received an email notification regarding your refund but do not see the refund in your account, please check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at support@buchabrewers.com.

Sale items (if applicable)
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items and discounted items cannot be refunded.

Exchanges (if applicable)
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange your item for the same item, send us an email at support@buchabrewers.com and send your item to the address instructed

Shipping
To return your product, contact us at support@buchabrewers.com to verify it is eligible for return.  If it is eligible, you will be provided a return authorization number and the appropriate shipping address to return goods to. 

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.  

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

Bulk Orders

Orders valued over $500 are not eligible for return.  If you are ordering in bulk, we highly recommend reading product details to ensure the product is appropriate for your needs.  If necessary, order a sample product prior to ordering in bulk.  

For any exceptions, which must be authorized in writing, LTL freight deliveries must be approved by us and scheduled with us.  Unscheduled deliveries will not be accepted.  Collect shipments will not be accepted under any circumstances.  Damaged items will not be refunded.  All risk of loss or damage in transit shall not pass to us until we receive delivery of goods.
