This kit is awesome and worked perfectly to make my very first batch of kombucha! Instructions were easy and include secondary fermentation. Perfect for a new brewer like me!

I live in Alaska and heat primarily with wood... so temperatures in my house vary somewhat. After my first attempt at kombucha failed when a spot of mold appeared on top of my scoby (expired starter kit I received as a gift, not from Buchabrewers). I began searching for answers online. Reached out to several companies with questions (included pics of my failed scoby) and Buchabrewers responsed in less than 24 hours! Gave me great information about why it might have happened and recommendations for my next attempt. They also assured me that they do mail scobies to Alaska during the winter and all would be ok! They had me at "hello!" I ordered this starter kit... and now I've made two batches and all is going well! My new scoby was alive and happy ... and now I have a scoby hotel and a 3rd batch brewing like crazy! Thank you, Buchabrewers, for being there when I needed help! I immediately knew this community would be there for all my brewing needs!
